Who we are

fetchmore builds websites and local-search growth programs for pet businesses — groomers, daycares, boarding facilities, trainers, and pet service pros.

What we collect

When you request a free audit. Your business name, website address, city and state, business type, current booking software, and email address. You give us these; we do not gather them behind your back.

When you become a client. An account email and a password, stored only as a cryptographic hash — we cannot read it, and neither could anyone who obtained a copy of our database. Plus the content, photos, and business details you send us to build and maintain your site.

When you pay. Payments run through Stripe. Card numbers go from your browser to Stripe directly; they never reach our servers and we never see them. We keep what Stripe reports back: which plan, whether a charge succeeded, and the last four digits for your own reference.

When you visit this site. Standard request data (page, approximate region, browser type) and analytics on which pages get read. Cloudflare, our host, processes requests on our behalf.

What we do with it

Audit requests are used to prepare your audit and to talk with you about it. Client data is used to build and run your website. Payment records are used to bill you and keep your account current. Analytics tell us which pages are worth improving.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.

What we deliberately do not do

This section matters more than the rest, because our work involves reading public information about local businesses — and there is a version of that which is genuinely creepy. We do not do that version.

We personalize websites using public business information, approved client inputs, and publicly visible reputation signals. We do not use private customer records, booking histories, medical information, or non-public social media content unless a business explicitly provides and approves it.

When we read reviews of a business, we look for broad themes — communication, cleanliness, convenience, gentle handling — to understand what that business is known for. We do not profile individual reviewers, their pets, or their visits, and nothing we publish identifies them.

Your clients' records are yours. If you send us data about the pet parents who book with you, we use it only for the specific task you asked for and do not retain it afterwards.

Who else processes your data

• Cloudflare — hosting, and the database your site's content lives in
• Stripe — payments and subscriptions
• Our email provider — transactional email such as password resets and audit replies
• Google Analytics and Search Console — traffic and search-performance measurement

Each sees only what it needs to do its job.

How long we keep it

Audit requests: two years, unless you ask us to delete yours sooner. Client accounts and site content: for as long as you are a client, and ninety days after you leave, so that a change of mind does not cost you your site. Payment records: as long as tax and accounting rules require. Analytics: twenty-six months.

Your choices

Write to hello@fetchmore.pet to see what we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, or get a copy. We will not make you jump through hoops and we will not charge you.

Deleting a client account means deleting the site we run for you, so we will confirm that is what you want before acting.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember which campaign brought you here, so we know which of our own efforts are working. We do not run advertising trackers.

Children

This service is sold to businesses. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date below and tell current clients by email. We will not quietly broaden what we collect.
